Rudston Teams Battle on
in attrocious weather

Thirteen schools from the area took part in this cross country event and as the pictures show our teams gave it their best effort.

For many it was their first time in such a race and they enjoyed the experience, despite the heavy rain, cold and wind. Everyone finished the course - 2km for girls and 2.5 km for boys - and deserve a big 'well done'. They each received a commemorative tee-shirt and badge as well as a very welcome hot meal afterwards.

We have been invited to take part again next year and the overwhelming feeling was to try again. We think we should improve with experience and with better preparation next time.
