Fantastic designs and wonderfully creative covers

The judges had an extremely difficult task in this year's National Book Week Book Cover competition. The overall quality was high with pupils being very creative producing some stunning artwork.

Details included comments from reviewers on the back of the cover and even the bar code, price and publisher's logo! Many entries had textured surfaces and art work stuck on in a 3-D effect.

During Book Week all pupils visited a special display in the library and placed orders for new books. It was great to see their enthusiasm and the support of parents was excellent, too. Well done to everyone who entered the competition. Keep up the reading!
